Meet Beth Perry
I really call The Children’s Center my second home. I feel so lucky to have found an amazing place to work, a wonderful place to be each day and a wonderful atmosphere filled with fabulous kids, teachers, and parents. I started here in 1997 and worked as a Group Leader with the 2nd -5th graders. I became a Site Coordinator for the 2nd -5th grade program in 2003. This is my sixth year as the Director of The Children’s Center and I absolutely love each new adventure and learning experience. I feel that after school programs, now more than any time, provide an integral role in the continued cognitive, social and emotional growth and learning through the actions of play. The interactions while playing are so crucial to problem solving, being a community member and making lasting friendships. I am going on my 22nd year with The Children’s Center! I have a dual B.S. in Marine Biology and Environmental Science from Roger Williams University and received my Post Baccalaureate of Education from Framingham State University. When I am not at C.C.W. you can find me enjoying adventures with my two children and husband. I enjoy the beaches of OBX (The Outer Banks, NC), collecting sand at beaches every place I visit, biking, walking, yoga, cheering on my children on and off the fields, being with friends and family and chillaxin’ any time the moment presents.
