The Children’s Center of Weston (CCW) is full with a Waitlist.
-Families accepted into the program receive an email via FormConnect with a confirmation of acceptance email in the top body of the message. Please check spam folders as well as in-boxes.
-Families that were placed onto the waitlist or remain on the waitlist receive an email from CCW with a PDF attached waitlist letter.

The CCW program is full with a Waitlist. All Families submit enrollment applications each year. The waitlist is a rolling waitlist. To be on the 2024-2025 waitlist, enrollment application forms with an application fee were submitted in April 2024 and families receive a PDF waitlist letter attached by email directly. When or if a space becomes available, CCW communicates directly with waitlisted applicants. If you were waitlisted and submitted a 2024-2025 form, and a space does not become available, and you wish to reapply in April 2025 after the 2025-2026 in-house enrollment, please submit new enrollment application forms with application fee.
If you would like to complete and submit enrollment application forms with an enrollment application fee(non-refundable) please click the link within the letter to apply and you enter onto the rolling waitlist. If or when a space becomes available, the Children’s Center of Weston will contact you. If a space does not become available, families can submit enrollment application forms for the following school year.
2023-2024 Enrollment
CCW is full with a waitlist. All families submit new enrollment applications each year. To be on the 2023-2024 waitlist, enrollment application forms with deposit were submitted and held on file with a received waitlist letter. When/if a space were to become available, CCW communicates directly with waitlisted applicants. All families re-apply each year. If you were waitlisted and submitted a 2023-2024 form before this date, April 1, 2024, and wish to re-apply, you must submit a new enrollment application form with an enrollment application fee (non-refundable). Your deposit from 2023-2024 is separate and will be returned by the end of the 2023-2024 school year.

June 5 - Early Release Day - CCW open for children enrolled on Wednesdays, please send lunch. also the Fifth Grade Celebration trip (no lunch needed for fifth graders).

June 19 - CCW closed; Juneteenth
June 21 - last day of CCW - open at 11 a.m. and close at 2:30 p.m. for children enrolled on Fridays.

The Center is currently divided into three age groups: Kindergartners, 1st / 2nd graders and 3rd / 4th / 5th graders. The children arrive at the Center after a relatively rigorous academic day. We provide a safe, stimulating, and home-like environment in which children will feel relaxed and happy. We believe they need a non-competitive, supportive setting with choices of activities after their school day to cultivate creativity, friendship and community. Many activities may be occurring simultaneously, and the low (8:1 or 12:1) child:staff ratio enables us to give children individualized care and attention.
Following a brief sharing/group time, we eat lunch together (parents supply lunch). Children are then free to play in all areas of the room, use a variety of arts and crafts materials, or join in a special activity. After clean-up and a nutritious snack, we go outside or to the gym. We often have special or thematic projects on these early days.
Our programs for 3rd grade, 4th and 5th Graders are designed to meet the needs of older school-aged children. Included in their afternoon is plenty of time outdoors or in the gym, a supervised homework time, and time for activities of their choosing. We encourage the creative exploration of many arts and crafts materials, and we often make our own snacks. Children are involved in hosting and leading more in depth thematic team activities at the Country school site. Special interest clubs such as art, theme related activities, jewelry-making, and chess are also part of our School-Agers’ afternoon.
Following a snack and brief meeting, our Kindergartners, 1st and 2nd graders go outside or to the gym. Special projects, such as chess, cooking, puzzles, games and arts and crafts, are also a part of our Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade afternoons. We have a second snack about 4:10, and then we wind down the day with board and card games, reading, and drawing.
CCW also offers special classes at the Woodland school site for grades K-2 such as karate, nature, yoga, chess, and art. Forms will go home and you will have the opportunity to sign up your Kindergartner through 2nd Grader for their favorite classes. These classes take place during the afternoon and carry an additional fee, which is set by the instructor.
