Happy New Year 2019!

Happy New Year! It is so nice to reflect back on bright moments before starting fresh again in the New Year. Here is a look back on our month of giving and shining! We were thankful for your help in our community service and giving project to benefit the Lawrence, MA community, especially after the gas catastrophe. We were able to donate many items to stay warm such as gloves, scarves, hats, blankets, socks, jackets, etc, and to provide gift cards and a monetary donation from our bake sale and raffle. The items were delivered to the Lazarus House in Lawrence, MA. Items were distributed to families and individuals in need in the community during the holidays, winter months and as families settled back into their homes. Our community liaison in Lawrence, MA said, “It warmed my heart to see all that was given and I know for sure that the families who are the recipients of the wonderful things that were donated will be very thankful”. At CCW, we enjoyed putting together a beautiful and bright bulletin board in the first and second grade classroom, playing outdoors, hosting an open house for snack and becoming architects of our own candy house creations as the winter recess drew close. We look forward to this fresh new year and the month of January!
