It's January at CCW - Superhero day, paper football, goodbye to Bella, and fun in the classrooms!

We started off the new year with much fun in and around our classrooms with fresh new ideas and games. Superhero in pajama day was a huge success with many super powers in action! We were so lucky to have Diane Edgecomb, a story teller, with us at CCW. Diane Edgecomb uses themes, topics and interactive stories with wonderful positive messages. At CCW, Diane told stories of folklore highlighting heroes in stories doing great things for others, or of craftily saving the day. In third through fifth grade, paper football games and teams, headed by our very own Dan - creator and great commish, were headed to the championships. There were cheering sections and great fun games on the tables. And then it was off to the Super Bowl for the PFL champs. Games will continue with battle for the bottom! We said our goodbyes to Bella at CCW. She was presented with a book designed by first and second graders and it was a teary goodbye, but we are so happy to know that she will visit when she can. She was also our wonderful historian taking beautiful photos at CCW. Bella left us with beautiful plants in our classrooms with lovely notes and instructions on how to care for them. The plants were wonderful gifts and additions to the classrooms. As January came to an end, we spent times with friends and were full of spirit for the New England Patriots as they head to their very own Super Bowl. Go Pats!!
